State Regent 2009-2012

On behalf of the members of the Texas Society Daughters of the American Revolution, I welcome you to our website and invite you to discover the many activities of our chapters in their communities as well as the work of the State Society. Information about the membership process is also available.

The Texas Daughters are involved in all aspects of the mission statement of our society—Promoting Patriotism, Education, and Historic Preservation. Through the generosity of our members, several programs are funded.  Scholarships are offered at twelve colleges and universities. Military men and women are recognized at award ceremonies across the state. Veterans are honored. The State Society is a major contributor to the restoration project for the Texas Governor’s Mansion.

It is through the preservation of our historic sites, documents, traditions, and most of all, our membership, that we can reach the goals of the Society. It is a rich heritage that we are committed to sustaining.
